Health and safety risks behavior among local and international tourists at Borobudur Temple before COVID-19 pandemic

<span lang="EN-US">Tourists are vulnerable to certain diseases and health-related issues, including experiencing danger during their visit a destination. This study aims compare the health safety behavior of local foreign tourists Borobudur Temple, Indonesia from September November 2019. Additionally, it was carried out quantitatively with cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted 200 visiting Temple; they were selected using convenient sampling. data analyzed frequency distribution Chi-square test. results showed that risks related food beverage hygiene most experienced by (p-value 0.030), solar radiation effects both 0.006). Tourists' knowledge prevent categorized as moderately adequate, have more understanding than counterparts. reported no difference in behaviors between tourists. It suggested tourism managers should provide information visitors concerning prevention delivering leaflets, booklets, brochures minimize danger, sunburn, well beverage-related diseases.</span>
